One number, and everything else exists to move it.
Most trackers ask you to be accurate. Kenja asks you to show up, then does as much of the accuracy as it can on your behalf.
Tell it four things
Weight, height, age and what you are here for. It sets a calorie range and a protein target, then shows you exactly what each rate of loss costs you in food.
Steady · 0.5 kg a week · ~2,100–2,350 kcal a day
Let your phone do the boring part
Connect Health Connect or Apple Health and steps, workouts, sleep and scale readings arrive on their own. Two or three items on your daily plan tick themselves off before you open the app.
Movement ✓ 8,214 steps · Session ✓ 47 min
Log the rest in the fastest way available
Scan a barcode, tap your usual breakfast, repeat Sunday’s batch, or name the restaurant. The app learns what you eat and offers it at the hour you normally eat it.
Suggested now · Protein shake · logged 09:30 on 14 of the last 20 days
Do the one thing it points at
There is always exactly one suggested action, chosen from where you are in the day. After nine at night it stops asking you to eat and tells you to close the day instead.
22 g of protein and today is done
Come back whenever, and pick up
Miss four days and Momentum dips while your level stays exactly where it was. No backlog, no catch-up, one easy action worth a bonus.
4 days away · your level is untouched
What Momentum actually measures
Showing up
A day with anything logged counts. A perfect day and a bare-minimum day are both participation.
Consistency over weeks
Recent behaviour weighs more than old behaviour, so a bad fortnight fades rather than following you.
The things you chose
Weighing in, moving, hitting protein, training. All of them are actions rather than outcomes.
What you weigh
Never counted, in either direction. The scale informs your targets and earns you nothing.
It never counts what you weigh. Weight is an outcome you only partly control; showing up is the part you do.
